The Foster Care Process
- Visit the Sub-County Children’s Office in your area.
- Attend an interview and fill out the necessary application forms.
- Undergo a home visit and assessment conducted by the Children’s Office.
- Receive approval and a Foster Care Certificate valid for one year (renewable annually).
- Attend training on parenting skills, foster care expectations, and child development.
- Be matched with a child for placement through a children’s home.
