Our Homes & Specialized Units

Since 1994, New Life Home Trust (NLHT) has provided a compassionate Christian response to the plight of abandoned infants, prioritising those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. To date, we have rescued and cared for more than 2,700 children across our four national locations.

Because our babies arrive with zero medical history, our specialised internal units provide immediate clinical care from the fragile moment of rescue until the joyful day they join a forever family. However, the cost of running these units and facilitating this care for all the children quickly wipes out our financial reserves. We urgently need your support to keep our homes running.

 

Nairobi Home

Operating since 1994, NLHT–Kilimani home provides a compassionate Christian response to the plight of abandoned and other extremely vulnerable babies, with priority given to those who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.

 

Kisumu Home

Our Kisumu home opened its doors in 2000. The home proudly serves as the Western Kenya rescue hub, combining emergency infant rescue with specialised, long-term paediatric care. To date, over 760 babies rescued.

 

Nakuru Home

Our Nakuru home opened its doors in 2005. The home focuses on providing compassionate care for infants and a stable home for younger ones still with us, restoring their health, and preparing them for seamless re-integration to biological homes, foster care or adoption.

 

Nyeri Home

Our Nyeri home opened its doors in 2006. This vital emergency gateway for the Mt Kenya region, stands ready as a protective shield 24/7 to secure the safety of abandoned infants.
