How do babies arrive at NLHT?

They are referred to us by local authorities, hospitals, and child welfare officers after being abandoned or left in extremely vulnerable situations.

Does NLHT handle adoptions?

We rehabilitate and love the children, but final legal adoptions and foster placements are processed through registered, licensed adoption societies in Kenya.

Can I visit or donate physical items?

Yes! Visitors and physical drop-offs of cash and in-kind donations are incredibly welcome at all our homes. Please contact our teams ahead of time to coordinate.

How are financial donations managed?

We operate as a registered trust. Every donation goes directly to clinical care, specialised equipment, staff salaries, and infant nutrition.
